Nerissa was a waitress that worked at the Postville Lodge. She had met and befriended Markowitz over their shared interest in Japanese anime and manga and they had bonded together in his hotel room. While in the hotel room she had noticed a Blade puppet sitting on a shelf staring and watching them and after this everybody in the hotel was ordered by Detective Brown to meet in the lobby. During this time Andre Toulon's (The Littlest Reich timeline) puppets had embarked on a killing rampage inside the hotel and Markowitz was one of their victims.

While Markowitz was taking his last breath he had asked if Nerissa would have dated him and she responded that she would have. After this Edgar and Ashley had jumped out of the window into a pile of garbage to escape the puppet's killing spree and Nerissa had followed them but hit her head on the side of a dumpster and died from the impact.
